I have been interested in flying for as long as I can remember and finally, at the age of 40 years, acquired my private pilot licence. I regularly attend EAA fly-ins and have taken my family to the annual show at Oshkosh, Wisconsin, Airventure, and Sun-N-Fun in Lakeland, Florida. So far, we have only driven there, from the West Coast, although it is my hope and expectation to fly it one day. I have been an EAA member since 1995.

I have been playing music since I was 7 years old, beginning with piano lessons, which lasted only two years. I have been playing the guitar since I was 15 and have played in numerous bands since I was 18. I have spent most of my life playing bass guitar when with other musicians although I now play both acoustic and electric guitar most of the time and like to think of myself as at least an amateur singer songwriter.

My family and I moved to Canada in 1981 from England, although I am originally from South Africa.

I now live and work in the Los Angeles area and attend the Newhall Church of The Nazerene where I am actively engaged in the worship ministry.
