While engaged as a management consultant I continue to develop my own projects, the most recent is a concrete construction products company which can be found at http://www.konkreteideas.com.

I am a creative individual. As such, I was one of the first to develop a Unix based fax mail server application, way back in 1991. This application very quickly, 1992, became an automated voice response system which was built on the Dialogic (long-since purchased by Intel) digital telephony technology. The underlying operating system was Interactive Unix which then became Kodak Unix which was subsequently sold to Sun to become Sun Solaris for Intel systems.

I own a number of design patents and have, at various points in time, held a number of provisional patents on technical products.

My creativity, along with my high mechanical aptitude and extensive technical and management training and experience, combine to make me an excellent problem solver and strategic thinker. My analytical skills are well developed and I enjoy drilling down into the fine detail of a problem to develop the best possible solution.

I am not a person who believes in developing 'stop-gap' quick fixes as it has been my experience that whatever is fixed quickly now, breaks almost as quickly, proving to be very temporary and costly. However, it has to be recognized that sometimes a temporary fix is required while a longer term solution is found.
